About the vehicles in this series:

Challenger II:
The Challenger 2 is a main battle tank built by the British company Alvis Vickers (now part of BAE Systems Land Systems). Although sharing a name with the Challenger 1, its predecessor, it shares few parts. Challenger 2 has replaced the Challenger 1 in service with the British Army and is also used by the Royal Army of Oman.

The AS-90 (Braveheart) is an armoured fighting vehicle used by the British Army. A self propelled gun, it was first delivered in 1993. The AS90 is fitted with a 155 mm gun (39 calibre) which fires the NATO L15 projectile out to a range of 24.7 km (30 km with ERA).

M2A2 ODS and M3A2 ODS:
The Bradley, named after General Omar Bradley because of his heroic actions during World War II, is a replacement for the M113 family of APCs and consists of two types of vehicles, the M2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle and the M3 Cavalry Fighting Vehicle. Since both vehicles are based on the same chassis they differ in only some details. The M2 carries a crew of three and a six man infantry squad. The M3 on the other hand carries only a two man scout team and additional radios, TOW and Dragon or Javelin missiles.

M270 MLRS:
The M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (or M270 MLRS) is the United States Army's rocket artillery system. It is capable of firing guided and unguided projectiles to a distance of up to 40 miles. Firing the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) it is capable of reaching out to 300 kilometers.

M113A3 up-armor:
The M113 was the first modern "battle taxi," developed to transport infantry forces on the mechanized battlefield; it requires a crew of two and can carry an additional seven infantry. Its main armament is a single .50 cal (12.7 mm) M2 heavy machine gun, with secondary armament consisting of a single .30 Cal machine gun.
The upgraded M113A3 has added spall suppression liners, armored external fuel tanks, a more powerful engine and transmission, and mounting plates for the optional bolt-on aluminum armor.

M109A6 Paladin:
The M109 self-propelled 155 mm howitzer was first introduced in the early 1960s. Continually upgraded and improved, to todays current version the [M109A6] "PALADIN".

M1A2 Abrams:
The M1 Abrams main battle tank is the principal combat tank of the United States Army, with three main versions being deployed starting in 1980: the M1, M1A1, and M1A2. The latest versions of the A2 have a new armor and electronics package.
