About the Bergepanzer Tiger (P):
Like the Ferdinand and Elefant tank destroyers, this unusual recovery vehicle was a conversion of the Tiger (P) chassis. In all, only three Bergepanzers were converted in late 1943. Their special equipment included a small derrick crane, rams and timber beams to aid in recovery operations.
