About the T-34:
There are few tank profiles as recognizable and famous as that of the Russian T-34. This medium tank design was in Russian service at Germany's surprise launching of Operation Barbarossa in 1941, right through to the furious closing battles for Berlin in 1945. Of course the tank received continuous modifications throughout its life, including the installation of an 85mm gun instead of the original 76mm.
