Dragon Armor has already released two 1/72 scale models featuring Panther Ausf.G tanks from the very popular Black Knight comic series produced in Japan. A third subject has been added to the Black Knight collection, this time a StuG III. The model has been painted in an appropriate camouflage scheme just like one that appears in the comic books. This tank destroyer was actually Germany’s most widely manufactured armored fighting vehicle of the war, with the StuG III Ausf.G featuring a powerful 7.5cm StuK 40 L/48 gun. A total of 7,720 vehicles were produced from December 1942 through till April 1945.

This model represents a StuG III G belonging to the Black Knight commander fighting on the Eastern Front in the autumn of 1944. The tank destroyer carries the distinctive unit tactical markings of the combat-hardened Black Knight unit. Another special feature of this finely detailed miniature is the dioramic card background fitted inside the display box. The colored scenic backdrop was designed and illustrated by none other than the renowned comic artist Motofumi Kobayash. This hot item is destined to be an extremely sought-after collectible amongst armored vehicle collectors and innumerable Black Knight fans.
