The most heavily armed variant of the US Army’s Stryker family is the M1128 Mobile Gun System (MGS). It boasts a 105mm M68A2 rifled main gun in a turret that contains an autoloader. This model of a late version of the MGS encompasses various modifications such as a mine blast belly plate, an air-conditioning unit, a new MG shield and an armor plate on the rear of the hull top. The MGS weighs approximately 18.5 tons and operates with a crew of three. The US Army obtained 142 units of the MGS.
