The Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia rear engine coupe was designed by Italy’s Ghia and built by Karmann, a German coach manufacturer. The stress on the curves in its beautiful body lines gave VW Karmann-Ghia a sporty feel that distinguished it from the more utilitarian VW Beetle. This made it explosively popular from its very first day sales. This model especially developed which to counter an English light weight sport car.
